Mujer empoderada Vs. Machismo
Main Article Content
Abstract
The issue of inequalities of power between women and men has been analyzed since 1975, many have been the advances that have been made in this regard since those beginnings, but today, 47 years later, situations that reflect gender stereotypes are still evident where the empowerment of men incalculably exceeds that of women, and the daily actions translate that we are still far from achieving the long-awaited gender equality that is theoretically proclaimed. Paraguay as a signatory of the UN, since 1975, has all the legal tools to apply state policies in favor of women's human rights, and consequently processually overcome the differences that exist in human development between women and men, in order to achieve the real empowerment of women and eliminate the machismo so installed in Paraguayan culture, and manifested by women including, who as mothers are instilling in their children the difference in powers that exist between women and men. The aim of the research is to analyze empowered women Vs. Women. Machismo; The study was conducted in the period from April to June 2022, descriptive observational; cross-sectional; non-experimental, 32 study subjects sampled from a population of 50 people; of which 19 women aged 25 to 45 participated; And 13 men aged 20 to 45; all of the city of Caaguazú.
