Main Article Content
Abstract
In order to explore the malocclusion situation and the need for orthodontic treatment of a group of 20 students from the Santa Clara de Asis University dental career in 2020, a descriptive cross- sectional observational pilot study was carried out. Study models were made of each subject in the sample and then proceeded to record the established variables. Regarding the right molar relationship, class II was the most frequent and class II and III in the left molar relationship.
Regarding the canine class, on the right and left side, class I was the one with the highest number of cases. A greater amount of the sample presented deviation from the dental midline.
